About Hypnotherapy and NLP in Reading

Ed Francis DCH Clinical Hypnotherapist. Registered therapist. Associate member of the NCH (National council for hypnotherapy).

Are you looking to change an aspect of the way you think, feel or behave? Most of us do at some point in our life; but no matter how hard we try, sometimes it can be difficult to achieve our goals on our own. For a number of years, I have been helping people to achieve these goals through hypnotherapy.
I have a passion for helping people, therapeutic studies and hypnosis and I have used the techniques that I now use on my clients to make changes to my own self development. Learning about the human mind has given me the opportunity to pass on my skills in order to help others and I understand how hard it can be to make those changes without support.
Some of the more usual issues helped by Hypnotherapy are:
  • Smoking Addiction
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Fears e.g. exam nerves, social phobia, general fears
  • Low self esteem, lack of confidence
  • Phobias
  • Sleep Problems
  • Irratable Bowl Syndrome (IBS)
Using a wide range of skills including Hypnotherapy interventions, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) , Brief Strategic Therapy and Counselling, I can help guide you to a better way of living, you can change those unwanted behaviours so you can enjoy the luxuries of life.

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a solution-focused discipline, which means we concentrate on what needs to happen now for a client to move successfully into the future and pay less attention to a retrospective analysis of the problem’s history. This does away, to the greater extent, with the need to visit any past traumatic events.
